Sunday Afternoon On The Beach

We spent the afternoon on a beach called Bella Vraka in Syvota, which is a village near our town (Ioannina). It was a refreshing break from the excruciating heat (almost 40 degrees Celsius).

on the way there:

approaching:

 our destination:
a strangely shaped beach separated in two small pieces of sandy-pebbly land; you have to walk in the water to go from one end to the other.

an afternoon on the beach can't be complete without some ice-cream and an iced espresso:

How did you spend your Sunday?
Enjoy the new week!

  1. I spent sunday shamefully sleeping because I went out last night and came home in the morning. Your sunday, however, looks really nice. That beach is dreamy! Are those oreo's on the ice cream?? YUM.

    1. Sunday is ideal for sleeping in! I woke up late too, that's why went in the afternoon instead of in the morning!
      Have a great week! ;)

    1. Hi Fiona!
It is going to be as hot the entire week. I'm going around the house carrying a bottle of water all the time.
If you want something completely neutral and totally funny I would suggest Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010). I've seen it around six times with my students and I always laugh my heart out. Plus,it's a family/kids' movie so no adult stuff there to upset anyone! Pure fun!
Have a lovely sunny week! ;)

  3. Sehr schöne Aufnahmen, und bei so einer Hitze kann man auch nur ins Wasser springen. Ich wäre da bestimmt schon gebraten...:-)

  4. Hello - thanks for stopping by my blog today! Unfortunately the end result of the tennis was not in my countryman's favour. Roger was a worthy winner though.

Great that you are having good weather but too hot for my liking! We have had record breaking rain for around the past 6 weeks and it looks set to continue for another week. Too hot/too much rain - where's the happy medium?! All the best - Bella B!

    1. I know how extremely annoying rain can be! Here it's the exact opposite you don't get some sips of water every ten minutes and you'll get dehydrated!
