Sunday in the Mountains

My parents, Sarah, Cary, my boyfriend and I hiked up Olytsika Mountain today. (The official name of the mountain is Tomaros)
Last time I had hiked all the way up was 10 years ago. In the beginning I thought I would probably faint; I was panting and I was the one who moved the slowest.
(My mum did most of the picture taking because I was busy catching my breath!)

The rewarding view of the sun rising made me feel better.

The path was steep but when we finally got to the top we all had a sense of achievement that made us feel amazing, despite being exhausted.

There is a small church on the top.

The view from the top was impressive.

It was a great day but we're still recovering!

  3. I would never do anything like that unless there was an ice-cream parlour or second-hand DVD store at the top. The trouble with going all that way is that you then have to come back down again with nothing to show for it apart from aching feet.

By the way, I've been writing some non-horror reviews this weekend so, since you're the only one who thinks that I might be good at them, let me know what you think.

    1. Haha! Dr Blood you're so funny! And you're absolutely right about the aching feet. I'm a couchpotato so all this activity was too much for me.

Your non-horror reviews are perfectly fine and I enjoy reading them as much as the horror ones!

Thanks for visiting, you should stop by more often! ;)

It was a nice experience because I shared it with family and friends. However, this kind of physical activity feels like a torture to me, so luckily, the view was fantastic!
      Enjoy the new week!
