Sunday Views

Our little town is empty; everyone's on holiday, but we're still here, driving and walking around.

Coffee tastes better with this kind of view:
taken from "Grammatosimo" in Mazia

Driving back...

...we pulled over to take pictures:

And then, as we were walking by the lake (as we usually do), we looked up and saw a heart-shaped cloud:

cheesy in a nice way :)
It was hovering over this sculpture:

which made it cheesier and nicer!
After some frozen yogurt and some more walking, we found ourselves at the acropolis of the castle (yes, there's a castle in Ioannina!):

one of the two mosques inside the walls

Ali Pasha's tomb
When we got back to the car, I couldn't help but notice the reflection in the window:

On the way home, one last picture:

Have a nice week everyone!

  4. Really pretty! Some of those photos (especially the 3rd and 5th) remind me of the Lake Travis area in Austin (Texas). There's a restaurant there called "The Oasis" and it has views similar to this.

Unfortunately, there are no views like that around here. It's flat as a pancake over here.

  7. Oh my gosh, these views are amazing! Yes, coffee would taste better looking at those. Do you know that I love cloud pictures? I did a post at one time about the cloud pictures I took that were in the shape of hearts. Your town in peaceful, and you captured all the beauty of it in these pictures.

  17. I LOVE THAT HEART CLOUD!!!!

Watching a storm roll in is so cool. It didn't rain much but enough to put out a mountain wildfire! Many prayers were answered on that night!
