enjoying Sunday

The sun was shining and I could almost hear my joints thanking me. I felt revitalized.
The joys of a normal Sunday!

“Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.”
Khalil Gibran

  1. Love the photo, what camera did you use to take it? Glad to hear you had an enjoyable Sunday. It's been raining off and on here, but when the sun's out, she's trying her very best!

    1. It has been a much needed sunny day here, too! It felt as if everything would turn into mold after so much rain.
So, I'll tell you my little secret... I don't use a camera to take pictures, I use my Nokia cell phone. Today, though, I left my phone at home (to avoid any unwanted calls) and I borrowed my mum's which is even worse. :)

    2. Hey, nothing against phone cameras! :) They're always there and sometimes you get really awesome effects.

  8. Oh Evi, I wish I would have had this picture for my recent post, "the path less traveled." It would have gone perfect. It's such a charming road.

You know, sometimes these kinds of quotes may be considered a little trite and cliche but there comes a day when you realize that the people who said/wrote them were absolutely right. :)

  10. Oh Evi,
I just wanted to tell you that I didn't write the words on '"the road less traveled." I got the phrase from a friend many years ago and kept it ever since. If you want to see Nel's honeymoon post in Paris, come and take a peek. Have a lovely week, my sweet friend.

  16. Evi,
Your blog name was always one that I was interested in. I always wondered what Sexta-feira meant? So, is it Portugese or Greek?
